Danielle Houston is a registered dietitian specializing in bariatric and weight loss nutrition, with more than a decade of experience supporting patients and programs across the continuum of bariatric care. Since entering the field in 2014, she has worked extensively as both a bariatric coordinator and bariatric clinical reviewer, helping ensure smooth program operations, successful insurance authorization, and positive patient outcomes.

Danielle has also provided telehealth nutrition counseling for over five years, expanding access to high-quality bariatric nutrition education for patients nationwide.

As someone who has personally undergone bariatric surgery, Danielle brings both professional expertise and lived experience to her work. This perspective deeply informs her compassionate, patient-centered approach and her commitment to helping individuals achieve sustainable, long-term success.

Over the past three years, Danielle has been actively involved with the Texas chapter of ASMBS and has been invited to present at both local and national conferences, reflecting her dedication to continued learning, collaboration, and advancing excellence in bariatric nutrition and multidisciplinary care.
